This Assistant Manager role is a new full time position created following an internal promotion to the post of Director of Customer Service.

If successful, you will lead, inspire, challenge, and develop the Customer Support Team to ensure the team delivers first class customer service that matches the status our brand commands. You will organise, coordinate and oversee both the paper and photographic specialisms within the team and you will manage performance and identify and meet training needs.

You will need to have a proven track record of consistently delivering excellent customer service within a market leading organisation, and will have demonstrated initiative in delivering service improvements. Ideally you will have previous experience of responsibility for customer service at this level and previous staff management experience.

You must have a positive outlook, be a good role model with a strong work ethic and have the ability to balance empathy for staff with the need to achieve the required business outputs. You will be confident and articulate with high levels of literacy, numeracy and IT skills and you will need to have good commercial awareness and a professional approach to the supervision of people. You will also have excellent team working skills and the ability to form strong working relationships across all levels including working closely with the London Assistant Manager.

Our Customer Support Team based in our recently refurbished quality office accommodation in Hull, take all customer orders via telephone, fax and email, and handle all enquiries, giving an excellent customer experience whilst promoting our company and our products to customers and potential customers.

If you are articulate and confident with previous office based customer service experience, coupled with an excellent customer service approach and telephone manner, we would like to hear from you.

If you have any experience in a relevant paper/print work environment that would be an advantage but is not essential as training can be provided for the right candidate.
