A number of these materials are guaranteed for digital use and are either recycled or carry environmental accreditations. We make matching envelopes and provide cut-to-size sheets in most cases.

CROMATICO DIGITAL

Cromatico Digital is the first pure white translucent paper designed specifically for all HP Indigo digital presses and dry toner technologies. This exclusive GFSmith product features a surface treatment that encourages ink adhesion, and opaque silver strips at the ends of each sheet to activate the optical cells in the press. Cromatico Digital can also be foiled, die stamped, letter pressed and screen printed.

 

 

COLORLUX

Colourlux is a unique development of our own Colorplan range, involving a gloss, matt or silver film lamination to one side of the sheet. The Colorplan base colours are Claret, Ebony and Imperial Blue, and the finished weight is 306gsm. The film laminate is manufactured from paper cellulose and is biodegradable and compostable.

 

 

LORENZO

Lorenzo is our high quality imitation parchment product. Available in a wide range of pastel shades, Lorenzo is optimised and guaranteed for most digital print technologies.

 

 

MARLMARQUE

Marlmarque is GFSmith's original marbled paper. Its unique visual effect consists of a pale base colour with a randomly-created marbling in a darker shade. Marlmarque's smooth surface is suitable for digital printing, including laser and inkjet desktop publishing applications.

 

 

PARCH MARQUE

Parch Marque is our original parchment effect paper. It is available in heavier weights for cover applications and in 90gsm for desktop laser printers. Parch Marque is also guaranteed for HP Indigo digital printing.

 

 

PEREGRINA CLASSICS

Peregrina Classics is our diverse range of metallic effect substrates, available with a single-sided or double-sided mica coating, in subtle pearlescent, iridescent or shimmering brushed metal finishes.

 

 

PEREGRINA MAJESTIC

Peregrina Majestic is our iridescent two-sided material with a pearlescent effect, available in a broad palette of bold colours. Majestic is guaranteed for most digital print technologies and desktop printing scenarios.

 

 

SOFTY

Softy is GFSmith's unique single-sided tactile material that feels like cloth but behaves like paper. Softy is certainly soft to the touch, but is also extremely strong and reacts well to die-cutting, folding and print; making it suitable for packaging and other creative applications.

 

 

TAPESTRY

Tapestry is our distinctive pearlised material with embossed surface effects inspired by lace patterns and silk textures. The range also includes a translucent stock.

 

 

TRANSCLEAR

Transclear is our original translucent stock with a tracing paper effect. The material is available in two shades, and with a plain or mottled appearance.

 

 

Gmund TREASURY

Treasury is our diverse collection of special papers based around metallic shades, from shimmering translucents, to glittering gold, bronze and silver, to porcelain white. The majority of the range features micro-embossed linear surface patterns.

 

 

TWIST

Twist is our exclusive range of paper-based materials with an unusual fibrous surface. Its unique finish and vibrant colour palette, including two metallics, make it particularly suited to creative applications such as packaging. Twist is compatible with most standard print and finishing processes.

 

 

WOODSIDE

Woodside is our range of convincing wood effect papers. The Garden Pine finish displays all the texture and natural imperfections of real wood. Woodside is available as an exceptionally heavy 398gsm board, or as very thin paper, making it ideal as a wrapping paper for packaging applications. Woodside responds particularly well to foiling and embossing.
