GFSmith work with MadeThought on a new design strategy, exposed for the first time in this promotional piece for their Strathmore range.
Designed by MadeThought and written by Regard, this piece is the first in an ongoing series of promotional and educational print promotions entitled 'For Example'. It marks the beginning of a fresh approach to GFSmith's marketing and design that will be characterised by a combination of ingenious paper engineering, unusual formats, restrained design, functional typography, print demonstrations and educational features. Here, the paper's compatibility with specialist print techniques is illustrated by some extraordinary examples of embossing, engraving, foil blocking and thermography, and is accompanied by practical information that includes advice on how to get the most from each process.
