Beauty in the Making (Time): Oliver Wainwright

Journalist Oliver Wainwright tackles the theme of Time by looking at the plans, promises and realities of the London 2012 Olympic legacy.

Oliver is an architecture and design critic based in London, currently working as the features editor of Building Design.

He studied at Cambridge and the RCA, and has worked at OMA*AMO, muf architecture/art and Design for London, as well as collaborating on projects with The Architecture Foundation in London and the National Building Museum in Washington, DC.

He sometimes builds things too.

This talk was part of a week-long series of talks curated by It's Nice That. It was commissioned by GFSmith for their Beauty in the Making exhibition in April 2012.
