Beauty in the Making 5 x 8: Supermundane
Supermundane (a.k.a. Rob Lowe) is a London-based graphic designer, typographer, artist and writer. Here he talks about an atheist's view on inspirational religous music - *excluding Christian rock.
His graphic art has been published and exhibited worldwide including several solo exhibitions. He is currently the art director of the award winning food quarterly Fire & Knives. He was also creative director of the alternative children's magazine Anorak, art director of the London lifestyle magazine Good For Nothing and senior designer at Sleazenation. He has worked with many clients including Penguin books, Wallpaper*, Nokia, Orange and Gap.
This talk was part of a week-long series of talks curated by It's Nice That. It was commissioned by GFSmith for their Beauty in the Making exhibition in April 2012. The 5x8 series featured five talks, all eight minutes long, every evening throughout the week-long exhibition.
