Beauty in the Making 5 x 8: Martino Gamper

Designer and artist Martino Gamper shows us some of the collaborations, learning processes and cooking experiements that fuel his creative practice.

Working across design and art venues: Gamper’s practice engages in a variety of projects from exhibition design, interior design, specialist of one-off commission and the design of mass-produced products for the cutting edge of the international furniture industry.

His latest commission are the design of public street furniture for the Park-to-Park connection from Victoria Park to the Olympic Park, London in collaboration with LTGDC. A Welcome Desk for the Centre d’Art Contemporain, Genève. A chair called Vigna for Magis, Italy.

This talk was part of a week-long series of talks curated by It's Nice That. It was commissioned by GFSmith for their Beauty in the Making exhibition in April 2012. The 5x8 series featured five talks, all eight minutes long, every evening throughout the week-long exhibition.
